Welcome to Lazy Llama St Albans
Lazy Llama is an outdoor cafe open all year-round, situated in the lovely Greenwood Park, Chiswell Green near St Albans, Herts. Surrounded by green fields and a lovely woodland nearby, it's the perfect place to go for a dog walk or take the family.
The park has free parking, public toilets, bike racks and a large play area for the kids. There's a gazebo at the cafe to provide shelter on wet days.
Opened in 2020, Lazy Llama is an independent cafe run by llama loving Claire and her fabulous team of friendly staff. The Cafe is known and loved for its fabulous premium coffee, but the menu also features a large selection of homemade cakes - including their best-selling brookie - a soft and chewy cookie layer topped with a moist chocolate brownie made with 70% chocolate.
Another popular choice is Claire's homemade pork and sage sausage rolls and if you're looking for a more substantial bite, there are toasted paninis made with authentic Italian ciabatta, bacon and sausage rolls, as well as 12 flavours of milkshakes, cold drinks and ice creams - served all year round, 7 days a week.
Claire said "It was my dream to open a small business, and with such lovely surroundings it's a pleasure coming to work each day. I love seeing how the park looks in the different seasons and we try and change the menu to reflect the time of year. We love seeing all the familiar faces of our regular customers who started walking to us during Covid. But we also love hearing that people now drive across town as they like our coffee so much.
